The Present - An Introduction

Ohhhh the benefits of bilingualism!!! So many are they!!!

I’ll never forget the day that I first started to look into the benefits… I discovered that bilingual people are less at risk of Alzheimers and other degenerative brain diseases because they use so much more of their brains when they think and function (or something like that… I ain’t no scientist)

This blew me away, and every time I introduce this concept to others, they’re more often than not extremely surprised as well…

Luckily for us bilingual folk, the advantages don’t end there… Oh no, this is merely the beginning!!!

In this section, I’ll be sharing with you some of the ways that I have benefitted from speaking French, along with some of the ways that I continue to benefit from speaking French.

Here’s a list of some of the topics that will be discussed:

  1. Benefits of bilingualism when travelling
  2. Benefits of bilingualism through arts and culture
  3. Benefits of bilingualism through sport
  4. How bilingualism can benefit our professional development
  5. How bilingualism can benefit our personal development

Hope you all enjoy the read, and are able to get something out of it!
